The Little Tikes easel is a kind of double sided easel which presents a board on one side, and a paper pad holder on the other. It helps a child draw and erase, or paint and save. For the board, chalks are used in making the drawings. But on the paper pad holder, pastels, crayons, colored pencils and markers can all be used in making the drawings, on paper and not the board of course. Clamps are provided to give support to the pad as the child draws, or paints. If the paper supports the use of water color paintings, those can be used as well. The design of the Little Tikes easel is brilliant, offering some storage space for all the painting and drawing accessories. The trays are easy to remove, or rather, detach and wash incase they become too stained with the water colors. The easel is made of a tough durable kind of plastic that is always better in contrast to the wooden or metallic designs which are better suited to older generations. It is easily folded to ease when it comes to the storage.
The easel comes in free standing design. A table-top one would actually be stressful because of the requirements of a table to stand it in. Since you will need a minimalist one, you would be again forced to purchase one. A free standing one rids of all that trouble to provide an intuitive design that is simply perfect. Besides it offers a sturdier base with the four leg support. Kids usually employ a little more energy than required when it comes to doing the paintings. The Little Tikes easel is designed in such a way that it will provide immobility when the painting is underway.
The places you can get the easel are uncountable. Any self respecting toy store will have one. The retail price is affordable, with the average quote being about $60. For an easel that will remain usable for a couple of years, it does retail at a very affordable price tag that does not break the bank. You rarely need to include it in your budget. The default color is red. Not that the color is a problem, it’s only that you need to ensure that your child is okay with it. It takes a couple of minutes to assemble it since it doesn’t come in the freestanding design. It would be good to have some dedicated room for it since unlike the table-top easels it does need some floor space.
