Wall Mural Ideas for "Mural Design Block"
So you've seen your' friends house with the mural designs on their walls, and you're pretty jealous. You want to get a beautiful mural on your house as well, and you just aren't sure how? Well, here's the good news. Below are a number of ideas.
The best way to go around your wall mural choices is by systematically deciding on a few things; budget, rooms you are going to paint, and what you want to express. Budget is quite simple. If you are going to have a muralist design a custom mural for you, you need to figure out how many rooms you can paint. Rooms are imprtant because knowing which rooms you are going to paint allows you to decide the last thing - style.
Your style reflects your personal taste, and is the most exciting part of the project! Now that you have your' budget, and you have your choice of a couple of rooms, you get to decide where you want to place your murals, and what you want them to express. Here are some ideas to start you off:
1) Philosophical Message - Philosophical messages are often used in religious imagery, and can be very dramatic. Whatever religion you believe in, you can often find famed stories to use to post on your walls.
2) Ethnic Meaning - As someone living in America, and probably identifying yourself as mostly American, much of your ethnic background starts getting lost when your children don't get to share as much of your ethnic experiences as you did. You can counteract this by placing dramatic ethnic scenery in your house.
3) Countries - If you are a perrenial explorer, and have different trips that you've went on to other countries, a great way to have those beautiful moments remembered is by posting some of the most special parts on your wall. You can have the muralist start with a photo you've taken, or simply use other famous photographs.
4) Your Favorite Pastimes - If you have a favorite pastime, the best way to impress your style on other people is by having it on the wall. Your walls are an expression of who you are, and custom murals of your pastimes are a great way of expressing yourself.
5) Scenery - It is well known that all of our senses interact with each other. If you enjoy the beauty of a sunset, the serenity of the ocean's waves, or the lush scenery of a rainforest, there's no better way to remember that experience every day than putting on the wall. You can take pictures from past trips, or simply have the muralist find the images that appeal to you the most.
