Even if the vase does have any decorations in color, then you should have flowers which are of the same color as the vase or possibly with the combination of shades of the color of the vase. Towards enhancing the decorative effect of the tapestry which is not large for your space by one, two or three feet, you could frame it to match the dominating color a shade darker with a plain border of velvet or velveteen than what appears on the tapestry. It is of utmost importance that you should not place any ornament in front of any picture to spoil the view of the definite composition in the tapestry or picture.
