How does someone make a rational response to something like this? My emotion is telling me to servery beat those involved. But that is revenge, not justice. More appropriate would be a public trial where the lesser offenders are made to forfeit assets to the victims and given a lengthy community service term. The more serious offenders should have all their assets forfeited and then spend time in prison. (those boys would suffer greatly if put in general population).
