Your chronology is incorrect, the Greeks and the Roman were there before the Crusades before. The British never colonised it, Syria and Lebanon were French protectorates under the Syrkes-Picot division. Palestine and Iraq were ADMINISTERED by Great Britian. There were no British colonists in Palestine. Really I do not know where you get these fables.
