Queens ny imports lots of live beef from other countries that is for slaughter only. This cow didn't have proper id and this people shouldn't have transported it withen the country and aloud it into the nations herd! The sickness that this biosecurity mess could cause could kill 100000 cows. They did animals no favor with there careless act!

Beef breeds are not raised on factory farms! That tag is a normal auction tag and doesn't mean it will be slaughtered.

Way to go Maxine =D I'm happy she escaped, no animal deserves to be eaten/mistreated/killed. I've pay good money to see those humans that kill the poor cows be slaughtered. >>

That cow is just...beautiful. Her eyes look almost as if they look into one's soul. :) It's great she escaped!, i hope with more events like this, the human race with begin to see how wrong meat is. And perhaps they can all feel beyond the human species. =3 Ditto, purplecheese28 :D

She has the most beautiful eyes and so full of innocence just like a dogs. It has been three months since I have been vegan but I only wish I knew about this earlier. I hope others will learn and cleanse themselves from this sin as I have.

I love that black lady who is going to vegetarianize her family! It warmed my heart when she said that she'll be "saving a few more" animals, because that's what I do everyday!It's just like what Franz Kafka said,"Now I can look at you in peace; I don't eat you anymore."I feel such peace when I look at beautiful animals such as Maxine.

way to go Maxine! what a story. she saved herself and now a bunch of other cows as well. Props to Dienna, the coordinator, for recognizing the cruelty to factory farm animals and taking action on it. |
