cap i used to sing opera. i kno that opera is a good voice training. i still have the opera voice in me but i sing alot of soft rock and christian so my voice is perfect each note. I was forced to stop singing at a young time because my mum says i sang all the time and it was beautiful. I got my operatic(if that is even a word) training at a full potential choir school in chicago. so i think what your doing is great keep it up wit opera its awesome for voice training

i for one did not enjoy her singing,n for ppl hu did,well im srry to say that your taste in opera is repugnant. im also a young teen studying/singing opera, and Feryl couldnt stay on key, she has a man voice,n she couldt decide on how to show her expresions.dats wat opera is all about, showing expresions and performing.she only stood dere n sang, i should say, her best.n this is NO sign of jealousy, just pointing out the obvious and some people hu dont no opera say dat she's gud

Well done, but I'd be careful about the way you sing. You are trying to put on a tone that is far more mature than your age and the sound is going back, and i suspect is resulting in jaw tension. You need to sing more forward in your mouth, using only your lips and tongue and not your throat or jaw. The sound wont be as mature, but it will befit your age and development. Your voice will mature, you just have to be patient. You are a good classical singer, who i hope will become an opera singer.

********************:star: I'm 12 too, and I sing opera....but in my opinion I don't really like her voice Its not smooth and soft as I would like it to be...she sings to far back in her throat...But I idol her because I sing opera as well (Hates Hannah Montanah) I sing more of a softer kind like Sarah Brightman though..:)
