You will have a hard time patenting this, it would be like trying to patent a hamburger. Anyone can make a hamburger

i agree.... oil companies are making 10/20 or even 30 billion dollars PER QUARTER and what these companies are doing is investing peanuts...As the top CEO of SHELL says we would like there to be alternatives as long as we can deliver them!! THEY could easily invest enough to produce something more usefull... The war in iraq has cost a trillion dollars.. they could have filled every roof in the us with solar panels with that money...They clearly don`t care but for there own pockets...

No it isn't. All they are doing is running a current through water, and separating the hydrogen. Hydrogen is flammable, just like gasoline -- except that when it is burned, it just turns back into water. It's very simple science.
MrLeN76 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
There is no gas.
MrLeN76 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The byproduct is water. There is no chemical waste. All they are doing is taking the hydrogen out of the water. There's enough hydrogen in one glass of water to explode the room you're sitting in.
