I am white and we all know that blacks have dominated this game called basketball-however, Larry Bird is not great because he is a great white player, he is great because he was a great basketball player, period. The greatest players of all-time have the rings to show for it: Magic of course, Bird, Dr. J, Kareem, Hakeem, Shaq, Kobe, and of course in my opinion, the greatest of all-time is Michael. I think in the end, Timmy D, Tony Parker, Chris Paul, and Dwayne Wayde will and should be added!!

No one who ever played or ever will play is MUCH better than Larry Bird. Maybe better by a little, but that's subjective. Bird is a top 5 player all time. You choose who the other 4 are.

Jordan was MUCH better than Bird.Bird has Jordan's talent without the athleticism and a few extra tricks up his sleeve. Different styles but both were great to watch.
