Transcendence was a top 10 metal album in the 80's. Sure this pop-oriented tune was meant to attract the chicks, but the rest of the album summed up almost everything that is good about modern metal.

The amount of kickass music/metal that came out of the 80's is insanely crazy. The kids today have no idea what is good. I'm so glad I grew up in the 80's. Ohhh the memories.

Crimson Glory (just like Lizzy Borden) always got slammed for their image. Both bands had good songs. Crimson Glory's first album is solid metal. "Transcendance" had some weaker moments (like this),but is widely considered a classic album. People that slam this tend to like modern cookie-monster skateboard metal vocal bullshit. Fuck 'em.

It's also slightly sped up, around 3-4%.

I remember seeing, Crimson Glory, at sloanes rock club, now the crazy house in Liverpool back in the late 1980's, they were superb! True musician's! They mingled with the punters, i even managed a chat with midnight + 1 or 2 other band member's. |
