"YWDU", You are about as wrong as anybody can be!, thank God people (including most Jews ) refuse to live up this Torah, otherwise we would be obligated to bash to death with bricks juvenile delinquents (Deut 21), those who wanted to change their religion (Deut 31), or gather a bit of firewood on the Sabbath (Exodus 31). The wise moving away from commands that turn people into murderous monsters and instead they seek to exhibit compassion in every way possible toward both man and beast.

I confess Genesis have spoilt me. "TOUCH THE SCREEN! TOUCH THE SCREEN!" ;-)Since I've watched that "Jesus he knows me" parody, I always got to giggle about these "TV missioners".

Oh that was really nice it was! As an atheist (I prefer to call myself a naturalist to avoid the negative affiliations) I frequently encounter hostility just as people of other religions do. I think it doesn't matter what your view is that we should treat others as we ourselves would like to be treated. What more can we say? ;)

If it could only be. How can I help?

Wow, someone rated this comment with a +? Not carring 1 inch about the dishonesty in that rather, Paris-Hiltonish-flavored, statement. The financial difficulties? Did you ever read a financial news paper. Or followed a class in economics? You are so far of and this is what our society is going to turn into. The lack of compassion is showing right through your statement. Facts? What facts, just flap your mouth the same lines to get in. All hail the new world re-ligio!Samayoch bayth Yahshra'al

You know what I find so so strange? That there is a Torah given to my ancestors by Yah Most High, now available to many and for the whole world to read. None of the nations ever really tried to live up to these laws called The Scriptures. And now, all of a sudden we "need" a more "compassionate" re-ligio, to satisfy who? It is all in the hands of the elite the same whose greed brought us to this sodded state. Yah's laws are righteous! Ha'adam is going into perdition!Samayoch bayth Yahshra'al

Your "compassion" for others is staggering. Your generalized statements about the "religious right" are in themselves contrary to the message of this video. Perhaps you should watch it again. Have compassion for all, even those who do not support your view.

you're great Karen! it is simply unbelievable that your video is scaring the religious right.... they are thinking you are trying to rid the world of individual religions... so threatened....it is just mind blowing how scared people are of compassion and the golden rule.... WHY??? it is so scary to hear these people freak out over this video. I simply don't understand it.

The world would be a much happier, safer place if we all had a bit more compassion. There's lack of caringness for others these days because our brain are ingrained to think of only ourselves first and foremost.

The financial difficulties in the US today are caused by misplaced compassion -- selling homes to those who had a proven history of bad credit and the banks KNEW couldn't afford it. The government made them give loans anyway because, after all, they didn't want to appear "racist".I feel bad for those who bought gorgeous homes they knew they couldn't afford, and subsequently lost. Sometimes, saying "no" is the truest compassion. |
