the ocarina is the oldest flute and its better it plays more octaves and note ranges then and brass or wind instrument and can perform sharps and flats and if you have a triple one then its even better

Those pads are so expensive to replace because they're Straubinger synthetics... hence their mentioning of the synthetic skin...

Considering the price of the particular flute ($9,000-$48,000), I'd imagine people who own one of that brand would poney up the cash to have an "official replacement."
