Used to listen to Wiwld Orchid's album all the time! Didn't realise it was Fergie until I heard the beginning of "The Makeup Song" last year and then I was like - Waaait a minute that sounds like my girl Stacy!!

I've always loved these girls. And, yeah, a lot of people didn't know that Fergie was in Wild Orchid. So when I hear people say she can't sing...I'm like Um, you need to hear "I Won't Play the Fool Anymore" by Wild Orchid, with Fergie singing lead...The girl can SANG, all three of them can SANG...Plus, two or all three of them were in Kids Incorporated from the eighties with Rasahann Patterson...Anyone remember?

I remember when they came out they were the first white girls to have a "soul" type sound at the time cause at the time white singers sounded white early 90's yea they got noticed I remember folks were saying "U heard Wild Orchard!"

I didn't know either.I used to there CD everyday when I was little(Istill do) Until my mother told me that was Fergie. I was like What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Something that may have hurt them, was that their music was very late 80s, early 90s. Pop was really starting to take off at that time. Had them come out with Taylor Dane, we might had seen them longer. |
