As MetalenTon said, black metal is music.Black metal is a music genre. What makes this different is the christian lyrics. Antestor only called their music "sorrow metal", because the would not be associated with the traditional "black metal" ideology or belief.

black metal is music.. people call it unblack its not true, they are black metal with christian lyrics, and darkthrone is black with satanic lyrics for exampleim intoo black metal with christian lyrics because its for me safe i dont want to get involved with satanic triumphy or anti christian things, still i dont want to attack those whos listens that kind of bands,, its not my business too judge them i only can say Jesus saves our lives even if you dont accept itblessings

I'm not necessarily into "brutality" such as death metal. I also despise the vocal technique that DM bands use. I'd much rather prefer high pitched black metal growls. But I'll check them out regardless, thanks.

If slow isn't your style, I suppose you can check out some of the Christian Death Metal bands like Mortification.

Hmmh... In a way, you're right. Black Metal used to be anti-christian etc, but now its just a "normal" genre of heavy music. Sad.
