That women did a good job! And the horse must be well trained too! The horses is gorgeous, I love Lusitano's.. They're such beautiful horses!

I'm very impressed! She controls the horse merely with her weight/seat. That's certainly good body tuning! But there's something I don't like... the curb bit's shanks are totally horisontal - not vertical. It puts a great amount of pressure on the horse's tongue. I think she has attached the reins too tight :o(

Dressage was originally created for the horses of knights. The classical movements were used in battle and on parade.

Lustig zu sehen, wenn die Turisten versuchen die Spanische Handbewegung zu imitieren. Nada nada, para eso hay que ser espanol de pura sangre! No lo podreis aprender ni de por vida.

I just googled "dressage" to see what it was... now i'm wondering who in the blue blazes thought this up! I mean I GUESS it's cool, and it's surely difficult... but yeah, who was the first person who wanted to to see a horse dance bad enough to make it happen?

Hmmm, apparently computer monitor quality varies for the below "commenters" to your entry. She does INDEED have the reins attached to two silver buckles on the front of her pants. see 2:19-2:21 and 2:32-2:47. Clear as DAYLIGHT. It's still amazing...no tail-swishing and the horse does marvelously. Really artistic. |
