When B,K. was just a baby and his parents were in vaudeviLLe he feLL down some stairs and he just sat up as if nothing happened. Harry Huddini (sp?),the great magician was traveLing with them saw him faLL and said "That was a buster!" So that's how he got his name and became the first "BUSTER".

He had a background in vaudeville, joining his parents' act when he was only a baby. He learned as a child that the comedy went over much better when he didn't laugh or smile. Joe literally threw him around on stage, which is where he learned how to be so acrobatic and to take a fall without getting hurt. As for his routines and ideas - sheer genius.

Now that's what I call teamwork!Big Joe Roberts is the only person I've ever seen eat a tomato in one bite...Does anybody else think Buster looks like a rabbit with the cloth tied around his head? :)
