I know Echo makes some good power equipment, but from all the posts I've read on various forums Husqvarna and Stihl pretty much dominate and I don't like anything Stihl makes. I personally think Husky makes some of the best equipment with all the power and features you need and it's not overpriced. The MPH has very little to do with blower output. You either have wind speed or volume, but never alot of both. It's better to have volume to move as much material as possible. mPH is just a #.

ECHO KILLS ALL. just look at the amount of power they have for how small the engine is. i can wack down small trees with my 21.2cc echo. even the 44cc backpack blower will kill the stihl. the 56.5 cc stihl blower blows at 181mph and the 44cc echo blows at 175 mph. 12more ccs and 6 more mph. o and yeah the 66cc stihls blow at 199.

Your definition of a "pro"? The only difference between a pro and an amateur is that the pro gets paid. Doesn't mean they know more..... I think Stihl is just a high priced name and alot of Stihl is made here in the US, another reason to buy foreign. Nothing beats Swedish or Japanese engineering. Peace out bitches!!!

The Stihls are better. My friend had a "professional" Husqvarna trimmer. While on the job, the shaft which drives the head broke. Once again, he came to me asking if he could use my Stihl. Later that day, we took apart the trimmer to see what was wrong and if we could fix it. That's when we discovered several things, including these two: The shaft rod was hollow! (no wonder it broke) We also discovered that many engine parts were made in China! Shihl is made 100% in Germany. CHOOSE STIHL!

Stihl is the BEST, NO QUESTIONS ASKED! That's why 95% of the Pros use them.

How have stihl blowers gone down hill? Prove it.

In reality Stihl blowers have gone downhill. Husqvarna is personally my pick as both a landscaper, and homeowner.

Stihl...As much as I like sweden and swedish tools, i don't prefer Husky equipment. For me, sweden is best for shopping...
