Forgot to say that I'm getting the same message as Fatalpop (error recording avi using current compressor. Use Default compressor? Right now I've already de-installed Camstudio and installed it again to see if I could the Divx encoder back, but I can't. So...... Any other solution? Cause the others give files of about 200 - 400 MB....

Nevermind, I got it downloaded from the Sourceforge instead of Camstudio. It works nice so far. Haven't done anything as far as uploading yet though.

well, I've tried the program. Unfortunately the Divx codec doesn't seem to work with this program. I'm using divx 6.8. I had it selected, started a video, got an error message and now I can't even select the codec anymore. Is there a way to work around it?

I don't know what it is, but I can't even get this thing downloaded. Does it work with Vista? When I try to download, it just goes somewhere on my computer where it's hard to find instead of giving me an option of where to download to (like my desktop). Anyway, I finally found it and I right click on the .inf file and hit install and it still doesn't install. This thing is fucked! Anyone else having this problem???

select another encoder or make sure the width/height are both divisible by 2
