aaaaw, I love the fact that Thom is clearly so used to singing along to this in his bedroom that he automatically does a Morrissey impression.

why don't you like about How Soon Is Now?i think most if not almost all radiohead fans agree that what makes radiohead one of the best bands is the picture they paint with music and their experimentation and integrityradiohead's audience is hardly "lemming" in my opinion.any fan of stuff like Videotape isn't going to be much of a conformist, lolanyways thats what i think

Android is still pretty basic instrumentation, even in 7/4. But like Mole says below, they are not known for musicianship, more for music as art, etc. This alone makes them not one the greatest bands ever, like their lemming fans belive. How Soon Is Now is one of the worst Smiths songs, imo. Almost any other song on Louder Than Bombs is better.

You're all cocksuckers.

I'm taking it that you've never heard Paranoid Android then. That solo is in 7/4.

If anything the smiths are underrated. ur dum

Just take one of the Smiths songs 'How Soon is Now' which continues to propagate endlessly in covers and tv (e.g. Charmed) more than a decade after it came out. It works just as well today as when it came out.Compare that to 99% of all pop groups that are gone within 1/3/5 years.

Their ability to perfectly convey emotion through song is what they're renowned for, not their musical talent. See How to Disappear Completely.
