The way watermelons is used as stereotypesis because people claimed african Americanshave big mouths-watermelons would fit perfectly in their mouths,someone once saidit has then been used as a cartoon stereotypeever since..just the way betty boop statestheir name as the colorful three,shows affenseand discrimanation. back in the days of theslaves people would make african americans feel bad by calling them colored-therefor this is rascist!
