Not disputing you didWhen British forces drive tanks into a sports stadium and start shooting at innocent civilians in the stands...as a reprehensible response to Irish military attack on British forces..well it aint hard to work out why the IRA's campaign went the way it did...not condoning what they did just stating it was triggered by a henus crime by the British.Then there was Bloody Sunday 1972...more henus British crimes. Tony Blair did apologise for this which shows great progress

You are correct when your talking about Bloody Sunday. I don't know if you know it but your talking about the brown coats, which were the British but the whole deal about the Catholics. That's more of what was going on between the Irish Catholics and the protestants and just other non-catholics. The British deal back in the 20's was for independence the religion came in with the Irish fighting themselves. I'd know I lived there for quite a while so don't say I'm lying.

If you knew why IRA formed you wouldnt be makin that complaint regarding Lennon. I like the Brits..but they came in and babarically did what they pleased..raped women, forced catholics to live in poverty removing them from homes and gave to British immigrants, go read up on Bloody Sunday (1920)..thats when the British made it a civilian warWhen you have been persecuted you will do whatever...William Wallace fought the English, he was a "terrorist" who opposed their tyranny..as did the Irish.
