Thank you, Mark, for this song. I'm an adult adoptee and though I recently located my birthparents, they are both recently deceased. I never got the chance to meet them, but I thank God every day that they gave me the chance to have a good life. This song means a lot to me... and I can't listen to it without crying. It describes exactly how I've been feeling. Thank you again.

That's 42 million people; 42 million beating hearts stopped because no one was willing to give them a chance. That's more than the entire population of the US west coast, Hawaii and Alaska killed every year.God bless adoptive parents!
