FUCK PLANE DRIVE TRAIN!!!!!
FEAR6655 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
There is no friction between the train and the ground yes, but at Maglev speeds there is great air friction.

gr8...go France!!!
sb9889 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yeah, and also Maglev technology actually allows the train to float in mid-air, which means absolutely no friction. Still, you gotta hand it to the French, it looks like it could take off any second!

Maglev is the future not rails, Maglev needs no energy to run and is faster a lot faster they say Maglev could easily acheive 1000kph thats not even flat out.

I think if a person were to be hit by that thing at 574 they would just disintegrate! That train is amazing...

The plane is Learjet. Small busines jet plane with max. speed about 800km/h. It isn't supersonic. Previous record (TGV Atlantic - 515.3 km/h) was filming from propeller cesna, and the plane was slowest as train. :-))
