Yeah, there's no way Patrick Stump is a rock star. Mark Hoppus isn't either, but he's better than Stump. Also, Axl Rose for 1980's? He was a tool...what about Slash? Eddie Van Halen? Angus Young IS awesome, but there's too many from the 70's to pick just one, maybe SRV too? For the 2000, I'd have to say John Mayer for his blues stuff (not what you hear on the radio, look for a guitar solo on youtube) or Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother. And in 1960, Jimmy Henrix or Clapton would work.
