If the corner piece is already on the bottom layer, but is either in a wrong spot or if it is in the right spot but flipped, that is ok. Usually you will have others in the top layer that you can either place down immediately or that need to be fixed and should work on those first. To bring any piece to the top layer (where you want them), use the 3 move sequence R T Ri (or the L one) to lift it to the top face. Then place it down correctly, making sure it is fixed first.

Well if you just get one that is now fixed after doing the R T180 Ri, just place that one down immediately. Then keep looking for more in the top layer that are either "fixed" or that might need to be fixed so you can place them down also until you have all 4 in their proper positions. |
