Nifty tool this is.EDIT: A lot of changes have happened to the spy since I posted this video:- For once, the teleporter trail will NOT appear under you as a spy if you are cloaked or disguised.- The knife does about 60 damage when not backstabbing, for example you can kill a scout in 3 slashes.- Backstab detection is really wonky now, and the backstab animation guarantees frustration when warping causes you to miss a lot of kills.- Remember to cloak first, then disguise, otherwise if you disguise first and cloak, the smoke effect can blow your cover from a mile away.-----Decided to make a spy gameplay tutorial after being in a server and seeing spies trying out all sorts of interesting tactics such as "uncloaking in front of your face" and "running towards you disguised with your name".This is just something based on my playstyle so you might say my tactics don't work, but I can usually come out on top of the scoreboard if the enemy team isn't overly paranoid.I use certain terms you may not have heard such as:Front - The area where most of the fighting takes place on a map. This constantly changes during the round and it's the place where you will most likely get shot if you get seen running towards the enemy base.Blind spot - An area where the enemy team has no vision. Use these blind spots to uncloak safely prior to a backstab.I haven't actually given any advice on when to use the disguise because basically you should be disguised at all times, except when you are inside your base. You can use the friendly disguise on your part of the map to confuse enemy spies. You can't even backstab an enemy in front of you if you two are running down a staircase.PLEASE! Release a video on how to survive Today!

Really great Vid, helped me a lot earlier ;)... Unfortunatelly I'm no longer a professional spy :'(, it seems that every update makes things worse.it's a shame that attacking an enemy from sides or top doesn't work anymore... it was a fair and balancing bug... now the spy is the worst class to play no matter how you look at it, also even the backstab doesn't work properly anymore, so half of those tricks shown here are not valid, you would've missed more than 80% of the stabs you made here.

not just tf2, it's any comp. game. it's a program called fraps, that records the game when you hold down a set button.

u know wat was dumb ass of a spy i was playing engi with a bunch of others tryin to protect our intel so a spy comes down disqised as an engi WITH MY NAME i walked infront of him and he acted like i was some crazy bitch so i shot hem in the head with my shotty and laughed at him xD

Its great fun to get enemy medics to heal you, then backstab them when they're done.

what do you mean disguises don't fool as much just think what the enemy that u disguised as would do and u should have no problem it works for me :|

The best way to counter that is to sap, cloak away, and come back using a way you havn't set foot on and sap again. It'll confuse the engie long enough to realise he's messed up.Step. 2, play medic around their sentry, using it as a shield and making sure to sap it...
