I'll tell you what I don't like though. I don't like people who don't even know why they have the opinions that they do. I know why I like the series, many of the fans who made it the success that it's been don't(they just fall blindly into the hype). I'm willing to bet you just hate it because they're too many fanboys who think it's better than God. I happen to agree, but my opinions are my own, not merely held to counteract some fools blind adoration.

Why would I be joking?And what the fuck crawled up your ass and died?Yeah I like halo, but even if I didn't, the soundtrack is amazing. And I'm not so much of a halo nerd that I give a damn that you hate the game, but since it's obvious that's the only reason you think the soundtrack is bad, then you clearly can't objectively judge music and you shouldn't comment here to begin with.

Yeah, I actually only noticed him as a composer about a year ago, and then I connected all these great tracks I heard that he made. Now I'm a fan.

yeah, i can tell when i'm hearing a Zimmer piece. he does an absolutely fantastic job by mixing brass and string section. i get goosebumps whenever i hear Hans Zimmer's work.

Yeah, Goldsmith made some great music (RIP). I also wanna see Marty O'Donnell compose for a movie or game again. Halo had an amazing soundtrack(regardless of whether someone likes the game or not, they have to admit it's epic).

very true about zimmer, but when you've got it good why change!? anyway, the other day i was watching papillon (the one with steve mcqueen and dustin hoffman on the penal colony for those who don't know) and i was thinking to myself that some of the music reminded me of star trek, but i didn't really think anything of it until the end when i realised why - it was jerry goldsmith.
