has ever a band with so much talent had so little success? andy parteridge really is the next lennon mccartney. colin moulding peaked as a songwriter with this gem. the performance of this song on letterman makes me wonder about the whole stage fright issue.

You are correct. Colin sung this song, One of the Millions and Cynical Days, all off the "Oranges and Lemons" CD and to this day I still have this CD (He wrote those songs, by the way, as Andy wrote the other 12 tracks on the album).
