Meant to say running against pro-choice-not running on pro-choice-but you get my point. All conservatives demand of their politicians is that they consistently voice their pro-life position. They could demand laws that at least limit the right to abort but they dont even do that. So i've concluded its bullshit. And dont forget that before McCain got the nomination, pro-choice Rudy Guilliani was the "frontrunner". So as far as I'm concerned conservatives talk a good game but they're spineless.

Yea you republicans really show "how" much you care about abortion by never actually demanding the politicians you elect do anything about it besides talk. I don't know who's weaker;the phony republican candidates who've been running on pro-choice for over 40yrs or the simple minded republican voters who've failed to hold them accountable for all that time. Face facts-if folks like you really wanted action on these social issues you'd "demand" action from republican politicians but you dont.

Abortion. Gimmie a break. Republicans don't really care about abortion;that's just an issue they drag out every election to whine about. What did Reagan or Bush do about it? What did the GOP congress do about it or even try to do? What was McCain proposing to do about it? Bush wouldn't have taken away womens' abortion rights even if he had the power. There isn't a republican with the balls to do that and you know it. Same thing with gay marriage. Why didnt GOP congress move for a const'l amndt?
