I am all about windows!!but i will admit, itunes is the best app written for windows. i love it.

fuck itunes, shitty support for files, fucked up settings

ah i know. which really disappoints me because that would be a great new operating system. but i'm completely happy with os x leopard right now, so i'm not complaining.

nothing like that'll ever happen until another dev comes out of nowhere and does that. microsoft and apple will never put their differences aside and they won't ever attempt to work with one another.

but there ARE things that they have copied, if you look at spotlight for example, that is obviously an inspiration for vista's search bar in the start menu. i wouldn't mind vista if it wasnt slower and buggy, but for now i'm sticking with os x. but wouldn't it be great to have an os that is a mix of os x and windows. thats something that hasn't been done before. so what i mean is that both of them aren't perfect, but if we could combine them, we would have a perfect os, able to run dmg and exe

yea vista is slower, but its not as insecure as xp. I like vista for that, and the look and feel is nice. but yea windows has alot of things that os x has now, but if you didn't realize its not them copying apple, its them trying to keep up with the times. being original is nearly impossible now. everything has been done before.

i agree i like the windows file structure more, but i definately prefer os x over any OS of windows. you have to admit vista is extremely slower than xp, it's just a proven fact. also, i would really like it if microsoft would come up with a few of their own ideas at least, vista does have alot of things os x has had for years.. they just need something original.

and believe me, i hate the zune. I stick with my iphone 100%. but don't think that windows can't handle it. vista isn't a bad OS at all, i think its a great OS it was rushed, obviously, and has problems that need to be fixed. I really hope Microsoft does so, because so far Vista runs at an average speed on my laptop, which should run it just fine. I prefer Windows' file structure over os X's, but i prefer os X's speed. I hope windows 7 is better than vista, which from what i've heard it will be.

the way you put it makes it sound like you don't think windows can handle it. windows and OSX can both do the same basic things. they can both run programs equally as fast as the other, its all a matter of programming. its obvious that when apple ported the code, they did a straight port with basic optimization. they didn't bother recoding it or building itunes from the ground up for windows. its because of THAT that it runs slow, not because "windows can't handle it" as you so arrogantly said.
