if you live you life looking for some reward when you die then I think you are doing it for the wrong reasons. isn't that selfish? does your religion say that being selfish is wrong? I personally just try to be selfless and caring while i'm here and do what i can for this world and everything in it.I have no idea where we go when we die or if we go anywhere at all. I don't think anyone really has more than an idea that they thinks works for them. What some call blind faith I just call blind.

If you had no choice to sin, then you'd just be God's puppet made to do whatever He wants. Giving us free will lets us choose to love Him or not. People choose evil and it hurts us. You can't really blame God for giving us the choice. The reason you care about others is two fold. First, you want to end the suffering here. 2nd, you want them to share the same eternity. If you don't tell them about God, how can they choose to believe and follow Him?

Believing a pain-free life awaits you tomorrow makes it easier to ignore other people's suffering today.If you're not worried about yourself after dying, why would you be concerned for anyone else considering the same wonderfully perfect outcome awaits them after death? On another issue, what's up with the devil? Why can't God just take him out, he is ALL POWERFUL, right? He's also ALL KNOWING, so wtf? You know his weaknesses...you have all the powers.......fuckin' do something!!!

If you believe in an after life, what would be the point? Why help people when you can just give them a bible and say, "see ya in heaven, its gonna be awesome", or pray for them.I help people all the time, try to make their life a little better, because I understand that there is a possibility that this short existence is all we may have.
