As you've probably heard before, Darren Aronofsky did not create the SnorriCam. Actually it's derived from two Icelandic photographers, Einar Snorri and Eiður Snorri. Although this technique has been around for decades. Darren Aronofsky is famous for using it as a "trademark" in his films.

The SnorriCam probably was used in Mr. Bean's Holiday during Playback Time's opening credits and narrative.But hey, it's just a guess.
