at 0:44 was that supposed to be a wolf jump and a pike jump??? cuz if it was... that is no where near the standard they require today!!

I can understand that you don't like Nadia and you keep comparing her to the gymnasts of today, but to call her daring routine "crappy" is too much. I too compare Nadia to the likes of Olga, Turischeva, Davidova and the gymnasts in her time. You obviously don't know much about her gymnastics and Romanians obviously need new role models. Btw, and before you start, I'm Romanian too.

Exaclty! Olga's stunning bar performance in 1972 complete with the korbut flip was incredible!!! She should have received another perfect ten in these Olympics but for an unknown reason they gave her a 9.3. I could not see any deduction at all. One of Nadia's bar routines later she ran her feet along the ground and they gave her a 9.3. Olga's was nothing like that.

Indeed! Olga never scored high enough on the uneven bars. Her 1972 Munich routine should have scored the first perfect ten in Olympic competition, and she deserved another in Montreal.

Hello. Yes, Balance beam was probably Nadia's best event followed by bars. I am suprised she never got any tens on floor though her floor routine seemed pretty good. And yes Teodora Ungureanu was very underscored on her EF balance beam, she should have gotten higher than a bronze medal even though I do like Olga Korbuts beam very much. I also think Olga was underscored on her bar routine in this Olympics.

Hi! Yes, even this one. Nadia scored a total of seven perfect tens in Montreal. She earned four on the uneven bars (compulsories, optionals, AA, finals) and three on the beam (optionals, AA, finals). I agree that other gymnasts were certainly underscored, most notably perhaps was Teodora Ungureanu. Also, Nadia went on to score two more perfect tens in Moscow 1980: one on compulsory beam and one in the AA on bars. Interestingly, she never scored an Olympic ten on either the vault or the floor.

Did she really get a ten for all? even this one? Not that this routine wasn't amazing because it was but I think they gave perfect tens away to Nadia a little to generously, there were other routine in the same Olympics by different that should have gotten a perfect ten and didn't.
