While it may not be proper opera etiquette, think of it from Paul's perspective: he's singing, putting himself out there...and this crowd before him can't keep quiet about how much they like what he's doing.Sure, it sucks for us watching this recording -- but if I'd been there, I seriously doubt I wouldn't have been swept up in the moment too. It's celebratory, it's alive, and we shouldn't be so hardcore about suppressing expressions of joy and appreciation.
