It's okay :) I realized it's better to paint with acrylic or watercolor with a brush. Oil paints are easier with a tool. I'm going to watch a few "how to" vids soon on what good tools to use. Stay tuned, I'm currently working on a video for a cowboy bebop watercolor.

hey, theres no wrong way of making art, she can use the paints the way she wants oils are great because they dry slow; you can work with them longer, yet it would help to use a better painting surface, only because oil paint ruins paper after some time, so your work wont last

oil colors are butted on with a very big detail and that the brush stripes are seen.

It would save you time and dry faster if you used acrylics..or at least water soluble oils...just in case! :)

Thanks for the comment! I recently moved and almost forgot all about that painting... it's not finished yet *LOL* I have a new camera so now I can take better videos :)

When the video started, I thought:"Hrm... I'm sure, I know this BG... Sounds like FF".The painting is OK, i think it will get really very nice as soon as you've finished- Keep on working -^^

Darn it your correct it is hard to see. O well videoing is tricky anyway. I just did a time laps of an oil painting I hope you will come by and see it kittytreats. The sound on mine is not to good but I will get better it just takes practice. maybe if you move the camera closer it will be more focused?
