Elvis was good but tried to put too much into it made it sound STUPID. Willy Gay&Drugs Nelson wrote it and sings it better, hands down. No comparison in feeling and true feelings. Willy The Whisp wins!

Elvis sings this much better, but Willie does a nice job emoting feeling. There is just no comparison in their voices, though.

Erhm... Elvis made an cover of this song in 1972. It was originally written by Johnny Christopher, Mark James och Wayne Carson Thompson for Brenda Lee. First released June 12, 1972 by Brenda Lee. Elvis made the cover later that year. So who should fuck off m8??
