People are often uneducated on this, Jesus WAS indeed a real person, some of his miracles have most likely been exagerated. His existance is not proof that the bible is correct, because that would null out Buddhas existance, and we ALL know he existed. The guy was a friggen ex-prince. You can't claim one religion correct and another false. If religion is important to you, learn about OTHER religions too, so you aren't ignorent on the subject. I feel like god is many different sides on a crystal.

Yeah, there are plenty of history scholars, atheist and Christian, who conclude that Jesus did indeed exist. But many people like to ignore them, even though they have a more informed opinion on Jesus and 1st Century Palestine than any of us...

hmm... i think you should read Lee Strobel's Case For Christ. it sheds light into this argument as how whether Jesus was a lunatic or not. you can believe for yourself whatever you want to, but after you read Case For Christ, i see no reason why you should doubt that the Bible is truthful. Lee grew up just like you but searched for the evidence that would prove the Bible wrong himself and came to the conclusion that he couldnt prove it false at all. hence, evidence of the Bible's truths.
